We had an ultrasound! And it's a....

This last Monday we went to a clinic that has a good ultrasound machine and we were able to see our little baby kicking around. We found out - much to our suprise - We are having a....

BOY!

Another boy! Honestly we were pretty shocked but we are very happy to have our new little BOY on the way. I jokingly said "Maybe this is God's way of saying - Your gonna have more than two kids whether you like it or not" because if this had been a girl - John and I would have called it quits after this one. But...we are entertaining the idea of having 3 children which we have never done before. We figure we've got at least 3-4 years to think about it....so, no rush :)

For those of you who wanna know here are some names we're thinking about:
Jude Andrew Blake - Jude means: Praise, Andrew means: manly
Seth Andrew Blake - Seth: Appointed One
Aiden Andrew Blake - Aiden: Fiery

Our favorite choice and most likely choice is Jude but we're just not sure yet. The middle name isn't set either but it is what I really want because it is the middle name of my deceased father - Robert Andrew Smith. He had no boys to carry on the Smith name so I would really like to use his middle name at least.

It still hits me a couple of times throughout the day that "I'm having a boy!!!". Because of the differences in this pregnancy I was about 90% convinced it was a girl.

This last Tuesday we met at hotel in downtown Hat Yai with many members of the body from different churches in the area. We prayed and worshipped and John Cava brought a message for the night. It was really incredible! About 6 people accepted Jesus into their lives that night and almost the whole room came up to stand together to accept the challenge to committ to praying and working for revival in Thailand. It was so incredible!

God really moved my heart that night and filled it with even more love for the Thai people. Many people who were there that night were baptised in the Holy Spirit and crying out to God with a repentant heart. Wednesday we had to cancel the outreach to the Muslium village due to rain. The land that we were allowed to use is on a pig farm and when it rains it is completely turned into mud and the Thai people do not like to get wet. Another big deal is of course that the projector can not go out in the rain. So we are rescheduling.

Today has been wonderful - we have been able to just spend time together as a team with John Cava and let him speak truth into our lives and it has been so refreshing to have him here. Every word that came out of his mouth was like water from heaven....I mean that it was refreshing and his words were not boggled down with religion or self. It was the truth of God's word and what God had for the team and it was good.

We have a lot planned this month - one of which is that Brandon Plumlee is joining us for one month! John and I have been long time friends with Brandon and we look forward to him being able to come and serve - and he couldn't be coming at a better time. On the 14th of this month we have an incredible opportunity to open up a booth at a huge gathering they have here. I think they call it an agricultural fair...we will have a booth setup where we can share the gospel and teach people about Jesus. It is going to be a great outreach - and it lasts for 2 weeks. Every evening our team will be manning this booth - passing out tracks, sharing the gospel, singing, and just building relationships with whomever we meet.

Another incredbile, awesome, exciting bit of news for us is that our (as good as family)/friend is coming to join us in Thailand in October instead of November! :) He will be arriving a day before my birthday which is October 7th!!! What a birthday present! We can't wait for him to arrive!!!

I will keep you updated on how things are going over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for your prayers!

Stephanie

I am praying about returning to Baan Nam Khem, Thailand to work with the Calvary Chapel/U-Turn for Christ group. Have you encountered them? I would like to make your acquaintance if God sends me back your direction. I was searching the Internet for "Baan Nam Khem" info and stumbled onto your website. I noticed that you are from Texas too. I currently live in Fort Worth, but my heart is in the Baan Nam Khem (Khoa Lak) area of Thailand. There is another missionary named Brandon in Khao Lak that you need to meet. He works with Mercy Ministries. Hilarious guy. God is doing a beautiful work in Thailand and you are so amazingly blessed to be part of Our Savior's Sovereign Plan for His precious Thai, Burmese, Moaken, American, etc. children there. You can email me at jer2911k@yahoo.com. My prayers are with you and your family! In Him, Krista
